"Long Neck Lounge" - A "Necks-Level" Man Cave by Bobbi Lemanski

Welcome to the "Long Neck Lounge." I found this HIGH society hideout in my NECK of the woods. It might be a STRETCH to think this place could be yours, but if your LONG term goal is to make your own NECKS-level man cave, you'll want these fun products by Honey Bee Stamps:

For the basics... my Honey Bee Stamps featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background, too. For white highlights, I use my white Gelly Roll pen. My card is 5" X 7" in size.

To make this 5" X 7" greeting card, I started by making the bar and drinks because why not?! The bar is from the Lovely Layers: Mancave Honey Cuts Stand Alone dies. I added a faux white quartz counter for the bartop by adding a few black and gray veining to the white counter. I added brown tones to the front of the bar to highlight it's wood trim detail. I die cut the bottles from the Lovely Layers: Hoosier Cabinet Wet Bar Add-On Stand Alone dies and colored them in blues, greens, browns, and orange. I added white highlights using my white Gelly Roll pen.

A sophisticated "Long Neck Lounge" needs a portrait of its founder, Mr. Longneck. I used the giraffe and a fancy gold-gilded frame from the Dapper Decor stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies. I colored him using my Copics using YR27, YR24 and Y21 for the giraffe. I used Y26, Y28 and YR24 for the frame leaving some white for a shiny highlight on the gold gilding. I used a warm gray background and added some drops of a darker gray and white dots to make is look upscale, but not fight with the wallpaper or griaffe. I added a foam tab behind the giraffe head so it stands out from the frame. It is so cool!

For the scene setting, I used a really sophisticated brown and white print from the Urban Roots Paper Pack. I love this print. It's perfect for the Long Neck Lounge! I added a black floor trim before transitioning into the wood plank floor. I created the floor by creating planks using horizontal black lines made using a ruler and a fine-tip black marker. I used Copic Markers in E57, E55, E53, E43, E42, and some W2 to create the woodgrain.

I attached the fully stocked bar to the background using a foam tab. I attached the portrait above the bar. Lastly, I stamped die cut and attached the two sentiments using the Dapper Decor stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies. I attached the card front to the card base to complete it. I am in love with this card. It's so masculine, yet high-end looking with a comical approach! Enjoy!
