There's no need to cut down larger sheets, and no wasted paper, these sheets of 500 Series Premium Watercolor paper are pre-cut into standard size sheets for readymade frames and mats. The 5" x 7" fits standard 8" x 10" frames and mats.

The paper is 100% cotton, archival, lignin- and acid-free, and available in cold and hot press finishes.  Sheets are packaged in a resealable polypropylene bag, providing protection and allowing the artist to store paper as it is used. Package also includes information and tips on painting to standard sizes.

Precut Watercolor paper

I wanted to try these 5 by 7 inch, 140 lb Strathmore watercolor paper to see how it would hold up with the wet in wet technique. I found it to be okay with minimal buckling. Since they are only 5x7 inch I was able to complete my work without having to rewet it much. I will use it for the making of my cards but will still use a different brand on my larger paintings that require a lot of rewetting.

Best paper!

I love Straathmore papers and the option of ordeing r precut 5" x 7" sheets was too good to miss. Now I just need time to get out the watercolors!!
