Anna Griffin Empress Large Black Magnet Die Cutting Mat / Plate - 8" x 13"

The Empress Magnet Mat has a stronger magnet than I have found on any other magnet mat/plate I have tried. I cut it in half to fit in my Sizzix machine. The sandwich is: base plate, 2 cardboard shims (this can be adjusted as every machine is different), the Magnet Mat, and 2 layers of thick vinyl from the fabric store to protect the mat from cuts. So far this is working beautifully! The vinyl is marked but not cut through. The magnet is easily strong enough to hold my dies even with the vinyl layers. Love it!

I love how the Empress magnet mat is so strong that you don’t need to tap down your dies. I got the large size mats and magnet mat. This size can do a whole 8 1/2” x 11” sheet of paper. You have space for so many dies. Love it!
