"You're Amazing" Card with Bold Backgrounds: Vines Of Love

"You're Amazing" Card with Bold Backgrounds: Vines Of Love

Hello Honey Bee friends!  Is it cold where you are?  Here in north Texas it's so cold and we have been stuck at home for four days!!  Lots of time for card making, right?

Today I'm sharing this card I made using the beautiful Bold Backgrounds: Vines Of Love Honey Cuts.  This card actually came together a lot faster than I expected, which is always a bonus, right?  Haha!  Read on for the details!

To begin, I die cut white cardstock with all of the dies in the Bold Backgrounds: Vines Of Love set.  Then I used blending brushes and Distress Oxide Inks to color the die cuts.  I used Bundled Sage, Rustic Wilderness, Saltwater Taffy and Abandoned Coral Oxide inks.

I used Bee Creative glue to adhere all of the layers together.  Follow the Layering Guide for easy assembly!  Then I glued the piece to my A2 card base.

Next I die cut the heart shapes found in the Lace Heart Layering Frames die set.  I colored the smallest heart with Saltwater Taffy Oxide ink.  I adhered the hearts in a stack with regular and thin foam squares.

I stamped a sentiment from the Inside: Kindness stamp set with black pigment ink.  I cut it out with the coordinating die.  I needed two of the foam squares stacked together to raise the sentiment to the correct height.  I added those to the back right side of the sentiment and glue on the left to adhere it.

And that is all there is to making this beautiful card with the Vines Of Love set!  You could easily change out the sentiment to make this a Valentine card or even a birthday card!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope the weather warms up for us all, but in the meantime, stay inside and have lots of crafty fun!
