Hello, friends and happy Tuesday!! Brenda here with you today!! The holidays are definitely the season for lots of sparkle and my card today has tons of glitter and shine!!
I began by stenciling the Decked Out Layering Stencil Set onto a panel of white cardstock two times. I used Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Lumberjack Plaid, Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks, Bee Creative Gold Metallic Pigment Ink and gold glitter paste. Once the ink and paste was dry, I used the Decked Out Coordinating Dies to cut the ornaments out of one of the panels.
I trimmed each side of the stenciled panel slightly and adhered a thin strip of gold glitter cardstock to each side, then adhered it to an A2 panel of red cardstock. Two dies from the Lovely Layouts - Framed In Holiday Die Set were cut from white cardstock and vellum. The die-cuts were positioned in the Framed In Holiday 3D Embossing Folder and embossed to add texture.
I added gold embroidery thread to the back of each die-cut ornament, then adhered the thread to the back of the white die-cut panel. The ornaments were popped up with foam squares and the layers were adhered to the background with Bee Creative Glue. The ornament toppers and bows from the Decked Out Die Set were die-cut from gold glitter cardstock and adhered to the top of the ornaments with Bee Creative Glue.
The sentiment, from the Timeless Christmas Cheer Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink and embossed with gold glitter embossing powder. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam squares. A gold pearl from the Metallic Mix Pearl Sticker Pack was adhered to the center of each bow and this card was finished.
