Hello, friends and happy Tuesday!! Brenda here with a card featuring the Lovely Layers: Roses Die Set that would make the perfect Valentine's Day card!!

I began by die-cutting all the layers for the rose from a few shades of red and two shades of green cardstock using the Lovely Layers: Roses Honey Cuts. I darkened some of the back layers and added shading with dye inks and Beeluxe Blending Brushes, then adhered all the pieces together with Bee Creative Glue.

For the background, I die-cut a panel of white cardstock with the Eyelet Lace edge die, then embossed it with the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder (which, unfortunately, has been discontinued). I wrapped red and white baker's twine around the panel and tied it into a bow, then adhered it to an A2 panel of red cardstock, leaving a thin strip of red cardstock showing at the top. Bee Creative Glue was used to adhere the rose to the background.

The sentiment was created with a combination of the Great Greetings: Love Die Set and the Mini Messages Stamp Set. The top layer of the Great Greetings: Love Die Set was cut once from red cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. The shadow layer was cut once from vellum and the layers were stacked and adhered together with Bee Creative Glue.
The sub-sentiment, from the Mini Messages Stamp Set, was stamped onto red cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. A die from the Mini Messages Banner Die Set was used to cut it out. I wanted the strip to be shorter so I die-cut it closer to one side, then placed the die-cut back in the die closer to the other end and ran it through my die-cut machine again. It was popped up with foam squares and this card was finished.

I really love how this turned out and hope you do, as well!!
Thank you for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful day!!
