Hello, friends and happy Tuesday!! Brenda back with a festive holiday card featuring the In Stitches: Christmas Tree Honey Cuts from the Merry Moments Release!!
I started by die-cutting the layers of the tree from three shades of green cardstock and the star from metallic brushed gold cardstock using the In Stitches: Christmas Tree Die Set. I used gold diamant thread to stitch the pattern on the tree die-cuts, then adhered them together with Bee Creative Glue.
For the background, I splattered one on the panels of pattern paper from the November FreeBEE paper pack with diluted gold watercolor paint. Once it was dry, I die-cut the decorative oval from the Fancy Fall Layering Frames Die Set from the center. The ornate rectangle was cut from red cardstock using the same die set, then both layers were adhered to the pattern paper with Bee Creative Glue. The tree was popped up in the center of the oval with foam squares.
The sentiment is from the Warm Holiday Wishes Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink, embossed with polished gold embossing powder, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up with foam squares, doubling it up where it hangs off the edge of the tree. To finish off the card, red rhinestones from the Holiday Wishes Gem Sticker Pack were added to the tree and white pearls from the True Pearls Pearl Sticker Pack were added to each corner of the decorative rectangle die.
