The sweet simplicity of summer fruit like ripe peaches, bursting with warm golden hues and soft blush tones, instantly bring to mind sunny afternoons, farmers' markets, and the joy of the season. For today's handmade greeting card, I embraced that summertime feeling with this charming peach and blueberry fruit illustration from the Picked With Love stamp set that celebrates nature's colorful bounty.

For the basics... my Honey Bee Stamps featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Honeycomb Foam for adhering my elements together. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background, too. For white highlights, I use my white acrylic pen. My card is 5" X 7" in size.
To make this 5" X 7" card, I stamped, colored and die cut the fruit illustration from the Picked With Love stamp set. I used the coordinating Honey Cuts dies to die cut the design. I also stamped and die cut the three sentiments from the same set.
I used Copic Sketch Markers to color the fruit. Note: This card was hand-stamped and hand-colored, however, there is the Picked With Love Stencil Set if you prefer to use for the coloring of the fruit illustration. To color the fruit, I used the following Copic marker colors:
- Peach: YR65, YR15, YR24, YR27, YR82, E47, E55, Y04, Y32, YR20, YG00
- Blueberries: B93, B39, B41, B66, B12, B000
- Leaves: YG67, YG17, YG03, YG00
- Flowers: R83, R81, YG00, YG67, YG03
The illustrations in this set are great for working on coloring. From simple highlights to shadows, the circular berries and fruit are so fun to color up in bold colors! If you prefer not to color, just use the coordinating stencil for quick coloring and awesome results every time!
For the background, I used two pattern papers from the Perfect Picnic Paper Pad for the card front. I attached the fruit and sentiments to the pattern papers using Bee Creative Foam Honeycomb Foam to complete the card.
