Hi Honey Bee friends! I'm excited to celebrate a friend's 29th anniversary later this month. This is the card I made for the happy couple. Two hearts, a life stitched together, united in marriage and hugged in fall-themed florals. It's a beautiful fall-themed card to celebrate the couple's love story. This card could be used as a wedding, engagement, love, anniversary or friendship card. It celebrates a life together, filled with wonderful memories.
To create this floral card, I used the following Honey Bee Stamps products:
Stitched With Love stamps and coordinating Honey Cuts dies
In Stitches: Heart Honey cuts dies
Lovely Layers: Autumn Bouquet Honey Cuts dies
For the basics... my featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background, too. For white highlights, I use my white Gelly Roll pen. My card is 5" X 7" in size.

To make this 5" X 7" card, cut an ivory piece of cardstock, 5" X 7" and stamp the front panel in a Morning Frost Ink using one of the designs from the Stitched With Love stamps. Die cut the embroidery/oval frame from the same set. Use a fine-tip black marker to add woodgraining to the frame. Stamp the sentiment from the Stitched With Love stamp set in black, on white cardstock and die cut the sentiment. Die cut two more layers from white cardstock. Layer the three die cuts to make the sentiment thicker and stiffer to attach with foam tabs.
To make the wine-colored hearts, use the In Stitches: Heart Honey cuts dies and stitch the edges using an embroidery floss or use a white Gelly Roll pen. to add faux stitches as shown here.

Using the Lovely Layers: Autumn Bouquet Honey Cuts dies, die cut various florals. (This is an amazing set of florals and can be used all year!) Use Distress Oxide inks (Forest Moss for the green stems cut from chartreuse cardstock) and Copic Sketch markers or similar markers to add detail to the autumn florals. I added RV69 to the wine leaves, E79 to the brown leaves, YR24 and E53 to the yellow blossoms, RV93 and E42 for the Queen Anne's lace, E53 and E42 for the ivory pillowy blossoms and E53 and E43 for the wheat with E79 for the stems.
Color the wood frame using brown Copic Sketch Markers like E49, E57, E55, E43 and E42 to create the wood tone effect.

Add foam tabs cut down to thinner pieces all around the back of the frame. Use the Honey Bee Die Release Tool to remove the release paper on the "non-tab" cut pieces for ease of removal. This is a great inexpensive tool for getting those backings off!

Attach the wood frame to the floral front panel. Add the die cuts to the front to create a floral bouquet. Start with the leaves to create the diagonal swag shape.

Working into the center, add the florals and tuck in the hearts. Use foam tabs to make the center florals and the two hearts stand out like the frame. The frame will also prop up the leaves and flowers that overlap the frame's edges.

Add additional enhancements to the front panel including:
- Splatter a mix of brown and wine watercolor ink over the stamped florals.
- Add brown faux stitching lines around the edges of the front panel to go with the theme of "stitched together."
- Add a gold metallic gem sticker to the top hanger. Color the hanger in Y28 and Y26 to appear like gold metal.
- Add wine pearl gem stickers around the woodgrain frame to accent it and on the hearts.
- Add additional accent stitches to fit the "stitching" theme of the card.
Finally, attach the sentiment to the card front and attach to the 5" X 7" card base.
