Hello, friends!! Brenda here with a spring card to share with you today!! I can't be the only one ready for spring, am I?!?

I began by die-cutting all of the elements in the Lovely Layers: April Showers Die Set from aqua, yellow, pink, purple, green and light gray cardstock. I used dye inks with Beeluxe Blending Brushes to add shading and dimension to the die-cuts, then adhered each element together with Bee Creative Glue.

For the background, I embossed a panel of white cardstock with the Spring Medley 3D Embossing Folder. Pink gingham paper from the Gingham: Happy Hearts Paper Pad was die-cut with the largest die in the Scallop A2 Card Frames Die Set. The embossed panel was trimmed slightly and adhered to the gingham panel with Bee Creative Glue, then adhered to a white A2 card base. All of the die-cuts were arranged and adhered to the background using Bee Creative Glue, except the bird's tails, they were popped up with micro foam squares.

The sentiment is from the Storybook Spring Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also die-cut one more layer from aqua cardstock and three layers from heavyweight white cardstock. They were stacked and adhered together, slightly offset, with Bee Creative Glue, then added to the background with a combination of Bee Creative Glue and thin foam squares. For the finishing touches, I added some shine to the bird's eyes with a black glaze pen, highlights with a white gel pen and Star Dust Stickles to the center of each of the flowers.

Does this make you long for spring?!? It can't get here fast enough, for me!!
Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a wonderful day and I'll see you next week!!
