Hello friends. Bobbi Lemanski here sharing this beautiful, ornate bird bath, handmade card. I am using the following items from the Honey Bee Stamps newest collection called, “Cottage Countryside.”
Lovely Layers: Bird Bath Honey Cuts dies
Antique Layering Frames Honey Cuts dies
Heartfelt Condolences – 5×6.5 Clear Stamp Set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies
Chinoiserie – 3D Embossing Folder
For the basics… my featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and frame-shaped panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. For white highlights, I use my white Gelly Roll pen. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I embossed a 5″ X 7″ piece of light blue cardstock using the Chinoiserie – 3D Embossing Folder. I splattered watercolor paint over it in shades of blue, from a navy to a lighter blue color. I set the background aside to dry.
For the next layer, I used the Antique Layering Frames Honey Cuts dies to create the white background layer for the bird bath. I sprinkled it with colors of blue watercolor to match the blue embossed layer. I set it aside to dry.
I die cut the elements of the bird bath and birds from white cardstock. I used Copic Markers to color the birds and the bath. I used the following Copic colors: E43, E42, E50, B000, B00, BG72, BG70, B39, B99, 100, C5, C3 and C1. I used a fine-tip black marker to add accents and spots to the birds. I attached the birds to the bath. All of the layers were adhered together.

Lastly, I stamped and die cut the sentiment using the Heartfelt Condolences – 5×6.5 Clear Stamp Set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies and attached it under the framed birdbath to complete the look.
