Mother's Day Card with Bunnies

Hello friends! Happy new week! It's Keiko from Happy Tree Studio today and I am sharing this super adorable Mother's Day card with mum bunny with baby bunnies! I pulled out dies from various sets to create this scene. It's always fun to mix and match what you have in your collection!

I die cut everything from watercolor card stock and added color by inking them with various colors. I am just amazed by the wonderful details these dies emboss simply by die cutting. I added some extra texture by mainly tracing the embossed line using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and clear gel pen but this is totally optional.

For the background, I cut down the pale purple polka dot paper from the new Pinstripes & Polka Dots: Spring pattern paper pad to A2 size (4.25" X 5.5") and adhered it to the card base. I then layered a white panel die cut with Delicate Daisy A2 Cover Plate Top die on top. The sentiment is from This One's For The Girls set and I stamped it with purple ink and die cut with the coordinating die.

I arranged all the die cuts on the panel and adhered them with Precision Tip Glue and foam tapes. TIP: I added extra die cuts on the back of the sentiment and the mama bunny to make them stand out a little bit. I added some Cool Pearls stickers to finish off the card.
