Hello, crafty friends!! Brenda here today!! I hope you enjoyed all the inspiration with the new Fashionably Feathered Mini Release over on the Instagram hop yesterday!! (You have until tomorrow to hop along for your chance to win one of two $50 gift cards!) I couldn't resist creating a Christmas version of the porch goose!!

I began by die-cutting all the elements for my goose from mustard yellow, pale pink, black and white cardstock using the Lovely Layers: Porch Goose Die Set. Her outfit and accessories were die-cut from red and white cardstock, and patterned paper from the Make It Merry Paper Pack using the Porch Goose Closet: Winter Die Set. The die-cuts were adhered together with Bee Creative Glue.

For the background, I die-cut red and white striped patterned paper from the Make It Merry Paper Pack with the largest die in the Lovely Layouts: Posted Die Set and adhered it to an A2 panel of dark green paper from the same paper pack. The berry patterned paper, from the same paper pack, was die-cut with the second largest rectangle die in the Fancy Fall Layering Frames Die Set. I trimmed a panel of red cardstock slighly larger, then adhered those to the background. A piece of vellum was die-cut with the oval die in the same die set. The goose was adhered with Bee Creative Glue, then adhered to the background, adding glue only behind the die-cuts.

The sentiment, from the Silly Goose Stamp Set, was stamped onto the same green patterned paper that I used for the boots and the bow with Bee Creative Embossing Ink. It was embossed with white embossing powder, cut out with the Coordinating Die, then popped up with foam squares. I added a sprinkling of gems (and one to the center of the bow) from the Make It Merry Gem Sticker Pack to add a bit of sparkle.

I can't wait to create this goose for other seasons and occasions!! You can see my get well card from yesterday over on my blog, if you're looking for more inspiration with these sets!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week!!
