Hello, Honey Bee friends!! Happy Tuesday and the first day of September!! Brenda here with an A7 card that features some of the fantastic new goodies from the Acorn & Ember Release that just dropped last night!! I had such a hard time deciding what to use first, but eventually the In Stitches: Ghost Die Set captured my heart!!
I started by die-cutting the elements from the In Stitches: Ghost Die Set from cardstock in the Acorn & Embers Hive Hues Cardstock Pack, blush, black and white cardstock. The band around the hat was cut from paper in the Sweet and Spooky Paper Pack. The bow is from the Lovely Layouts: Framed In Fall Die Set. All the die-cuts were adhered together with Bee Creative Glue, except the candy corn. It was popped up with foam squares.
For the background, I die-cut burnt orange cardstock in the Acorn & Ember Hive Hues Cardstock Pack using a die from the Lovely Layouts: Framed In Fall Die Set and embossed it with the Framed In Fall 3D Embossing Folder. A piece of plaid patterned paper from the Acorn & Ember Paper Pack was die-cut with the largest Scallop A7 Card Frames Die. They were adhered to an A7 card base with Bee Creative Glue and the ghost was popped up in the center with foam squares.
The sentiment, from the Sentiment Studio: Halloween Stamp Set, was stamped onto black cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. It was cut out with the Sentiment Studio: Strips Die and popped up with foam squares. I added an orange gem to the bow and white gems to the eyes, from the Sweet and Spooky Gem Stickers Pack, to finish off the card and add a bit of sparkle.
