Happy Thanksgiving - Hello Harvest Sneak Peek

Hello, friends and happy Tuesday!! Brenda here with a sneak peek of a few new products in the Hello Harvest Release that will drop tomorrow evening after the live release party on YouTube at 7PM CST!! You don't want to miss this!!

I started by die-cutting the new Lovely Layers: Turkey Die Set from two shades of brown, light gray, burnt orange, red and black cardstock. I chose Distress Ink colors that were a little darker than the cardstock and used my finger to add the ink over the die-cuts. You could also use a brayer, but don't use blending brushes or the ink will deposit into the debossed areas and you want the ink to stay on the high points of the die-cuts to get that detail. All the pieces were adhered together using Bee Creative Glue, except the head and neck, which were popped up with foam tape.

For the background, I combined patterned paper from two different paper pads. The larger rectangle in the Fancy Fall Layering Frames Die Set was cut from orange paper in the Fall Is In the Air Paper Pad. The second largest rectangle in the same die set was cut from paper in the new Homestead Hues Paper Pad and the oval was cut from vellum. The layers were all stacked and adhered together with Bee Creative Glue, then added to an A2 white card base. The turkey was adhered with a combination of Bee Creative Glue and foam tape.

The sentiment is from the new Forever Grateful Stamp Set. It was stamped onto red cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink, sprinkled with white embossing powder, then melted with a heat tool. It was die-cut with the Coordinating Die, along with three more layers of heavyweight white cardstock. They were stacked and adhered together, then added to the front of the card. I added a dot to the eye with a white gel pen, then added a bit of Glossy Accents. Red iridescent rhinestones from the Homestead Hues Gem Sticker Pack finish off the card and add a bit of shine.
