For the basics... my Honey Bee Stamps featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Honeycomb Foam for adhering my elements together. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background, too.For white highlights, I use my white acrylic pen. My card is 5" X 7" in size.

To make this 5" X 7" card, I made the Porch Goose by die cutting the elements using the Lovely Layers: Porch Goose Honey Cuts die set and the Platinum Scout Die Cutting Machine. I cut the body and wings from an ivory cardstock from the Hive Hues Essential cardstock pack. I used Distress Oxide Ink in Antique Linen and Walnut Stain and my blender brushes (large and small) to make the goose a little more dimensional and realistic. The beak and legs were cut from the orange in the Hive Hues Signature Surfaces Collection. You can watch my reel on Instagram to see how I colored the goose.  I assembled the goose and added the festive outfit using dies from the Porch Goose Closet: Winter Honey Cuts die set. I used red and a medium green cardstock from the Make It Merry Hive Hue Collection. Using Copic Markers, I added polka dots to the bonnet ribbon (YG95 Copic Marker) and a plaid design (R89 Copic Marker) on the cape.

I wanted to add a little basket of apples to the goose so I used the Hoosier Cabinet Fall Honey Cuts die set. It is the perfect size basket of apples for this goose. I tucked part of the basket handle under the cape, giving the appearance that the goose is holding it with its wing, under the cape. The gingham cloth in the basket was cut from a pattern paper from the Summer Picnic Pad. The apples were cut from the red cardstock in the Make It Merry Hive Hue Collection and the basket from the brown cardstock in the Hive Hues Essential cardstock pack and a Kraft cardstock. I added white highlights to the apples and the basket.

For the background, I used the Framed In Fall 3D Embossing Folder and the darker green cardstock in from the Make It Merry Hive Hue Collection. After embossing the cardstock, I used a brown Copic Marker (E57 Copic Marker) to color the wood corners of the design. I used my white acrylic pen to add additional woodgrain detailing over the brown inked corners and the extra dots around the perimeter.

I attached the goose in the middle and then added winter greenery around it.  Using the Lovely Layers: Winter Greenery Honey Cuts dies, I die cut the foliage and berries, splattered white paint over the holly leaves and cedar branches, let them all dry and then attached them in the two corners - upper right and lower left. I added berries to the corners using foam tabs under the center ones and then additional additional berries around it. I used Copic Markers in R89 and R29 to add shading to make the berries appear round. A white highlight at the top was added to each one using my white pen.

I stamped in a dark green and die cut three sentiments from the Silly Goose stamp set and coordinating Silly Goose Honey Cuts die set. I like to die cut multiple layers to make the sentiments thicker and stronger. I added foam tabs under them and attached them to the card front. I attached the card front to a white card base. I added additional highlights on the goose to finish this card.
