Hello, Honey Bee lovers! It's Bobbi Lemanski with a card and tag duo featuring some new items from the Honey Bee Stamps Merry Moments release. These Festive Frames are so beautiful with all the detailing and they aren't just for Christmas! It was hard picking just three to use today, but I did. I'm using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:
Festive Frames Honey Cuts dies
Very Merry Stencil set and coordinating Very Merry Honey Cuts dies
Simply Stated stamps and coordinating Honey Cuts dies (LOVE THESE!!)
For the basics... my Honey Bee Stamps featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background, too. For white highlights, I use my white Gelly Roll pen. My card is 5" X 7" in size.

This 5" X 7" starts with the the Very Merry Stencil set. I used Distress Oxide inks to color up a 6" X 6" sheet of white cardstock. I used Candied Apple, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Picked Raspberry, Rustic Hinge, Mermaid Lagoon and Kitsch Flamingo. Once the stenciled pattern was complete, I die cut the individual elements from the pattern using the Very Merry Honey Cuts dies.
I die cut the Festive Frames Honey Cuts dies from red, green and a warm gray cardstock. I die cut the coordinating top layer of each frame from white cardstock. and glued them together. Using a W2 Copic Sketch Marker, I added dots of gray to each top white layer for added interest. These will be the backgrounds of the frames.
Each frame got a set of cute Merry images. I added Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab to some of the images to make them stand out on each frame. I glued the others. I set the frames aside to work on the background of the card.

For the background, I die cut a 5" X 7" top layer and die cut 9 images in a 3 X 3 design using the Very Merry Honey Cuts dies. These are just the outlines. Under this top layer, I added a warm gray piece of cardstock cut slightly smaller that was splattered with white paint. I attached the layer to the back of the white die cut top layer and attached the layers to the A7 card base made from white cardstock. I added the red and green frames to the front of the card using Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab. Using a black fine-tip black marker, I added accenting dots and markings around the frames to give the design some depth in color.
I cut thin strips of striped paper from the Merry Moments Paper Pad and attached to the top and bottom of the card front. The bottom strip was also layered over a red strip of cardstock that was slightly wider to make it a bit more "heavy" to ground it. I stamped and die cut the "Merry Everything" sentiment using the Simply Stated stamps and coordinating Honey Cuts dies. This set is great because it stamps and die cuts all the sentiments on these projects in on set! The "Holly Jolly" sentiment from the same set was also attached above. Lastly, I added some Merry Moments Gem Stickers to the images for some holiday sparkle!

For the coordinating tag, I attached the gray Festive Frame to a basic tag cut from the same Merry Moments Paper Pad pattern paper. I added a white backing to the tag for support and to write a message and a to/from on the back. I added two sentiments from the Simply Stated stamps and coordinating Honey Cuts dies, and a green metallic string. I added simple green dots using a marker to the background of the frame for some extra interest. Pearl Pen in black was used for the sentiment "nail heads."
