Hello, friends!! Brenda back with you today!! Christmas Tag Week continues here at Honey Bee Stamps!! We're hoping to inspire you to create beautiful tags to adorn your holiday packages!!
I have a trio of tags to share with you today!!
I began by die-cutting the outer dies of some of the frames in the Festive Frames Honey Cuts from red cardstock and the inner pieces from patterned paper in the Holiday Wishes Paper Pack (which, unfortunately, has been discontinued, but any patterned paper will work here). I adhered the patterned paper to the cardstock with Bee Creative Glue. A Crop-A-Dile was used to punch a hole in the top of each tag, then I added red and white twine.
Next, the flowers in the Lovely Layers: Mini Holiday Florals Die Set were cut from red and Honey Gold cardstock. I added a bit of shading with dark red dye ink using a Beeluxe Blending Brush, then adhered all the die-cuts together with Bee Creative Glue.
The foliage die in the Lovely Layers: Mini Holiday Florals Die Set was cut from dark green and Honey Gold cardstock. I used a Beeluxe Blending Brush to add some darker green dye ink to the green die-cuts. The flowers and foliage die-cuts were all splattered with diluted bleed-proof ink.
I snipped the gold foliage apart to break it up a bit. The foliage die-cuts were adhered to the tags with Bee Creative Glue and the flowers were all popped up with foam squares.
Opaque Distress Texture Paste was applied to some of the petals and greenery with a palette knife. While it was still wet, it was sprinkled with Rock Candy Glitter and the excess was shaken off.
The Simply Stated: Holiday Stamp was stamped onto red cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. They were cut out with the Simply Stated Die, then popped up along the bottom of the tags with foam squares. A trio of gold pearls from the Merry Moments Pearl Sticker Pack were added to each tag to finish them off.
