Bloom and Buzz Bee Well Card by Bobbi Lemanski - Honey Bee Stamps

Sweet as honey and filled with cheerful charm, today’s handmade card is buzzing with sunshine-inspired details. Featuring adorable bees fluttering around a bright yellow flower, this design brings a little happiness to any day. Paired with the playful sentiment, “Bee Well,” the card is perfect for sending encouragement, comfort, or a thoughtful note to someone who could use a smile. From the warm golden tones to the garden-inspired touches, this card is a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can brighten someone’s day. I'm using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

For the basics... my Honey Bee Stamps featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background and die cuts, too. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. For white highlights, I use my white pen. My card is 5" X 7" in size.

To make this 5" X 7" card, I used some watercolor black paint to splatter the background on a 5" X 7" white cardstock front panel. I set it aside to dry. I also cut white cardstock to 10" wide X 7" tall and folded down the middle for my white card base. I will attach the panel to the base at the end.

Using the Heartfelt Honeys Honey Cuts dies, I die cut the two bees from black and yellow cardstock. I added some Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink to the bee wings. I assembled the bees and added white highlights to their bodies. I also added little golden hearts to the wings using a Copic Y19 marker. I blended some Candied Apple on the yellow heart to make the heart more red than yellow.

I stamped the florals from the Bloom and Buzz stamp set and die cut them using the coordinating Honey Cuts dies. I colored the large yellow rose using YR23, Y19, Y08, Y06 Copic Sketch Markers. I used blue violet markers for the small purple flowers and YG67, YG17 and YG03 for the leaves. I used YR68 and YR15 for the center and some white highlights using my white pen.

I used the Honeycomb Honey Cuts die to create the fun pattern background from Kraft cardstock.

I attached the honeycomb die cut to the front panel, followed by the florals. I used a foam tab to attach the flowers to make them stand out. I added the bees using foam tabs and then stamped the "bee well" from the Bee Well stamp set right below the flowers. I added a small heart die cut with Glossy Accents applied over it to make it glossy and dimensional. A few drops of Glossy Accents on the petals of the flower look like droplets of dew.

I attached this cute card front panel to the white card base to complete the look.
