Garden Party Paper Pad

For the basics... my Honey Bee Stamps featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background, too. For white highlights, I use my white Gelly Roll pen. My card is 5" X 7" in size.

Bagged Blooms Flower Card

To create this 5" X 7" card, I used the Garden Party Paper Pad for the card front background and the bag. The honeycomb yellow pattern piece used for the card front cover was cut to 4-1/2" wide X 7" tall to cover most of the front. I added 1/4" strips of another yellow floral pattern paper to the top and bottom. This will match the bag's charm.

I followed the 3D Pop-Up Bag Honey Cuts dies Layering Guild to assemble the bag. I used only one side of the bag and folded the flaps in and attached the bag to the card front. I used a white cardstock for the rope handle. I wanted to make the outside of the bag just a little fancier so I added a butterfly to the front using the Lovely Layers: Petals & Wings Honey Cuts dies, white and metallic gold cardstock. I colored the butterfly in two shades of pinks using RV52 and RV09 Copic Sketch markers.

I assembled the flowers for the bag using the Lovely Layers: Mini Spring Florals Honey Cuts dies and cardstock from the NEW  Hive Hues Collection. I attached the florals in the bag for a beautiful bouquet. I used foam tabs on the backs of the forefront flowers to make them stand out from the others.

I added a sentiment to the card using the Heart of Our Family stamps and coordinating Honey Cuts dies. I attached the sentiment to the front of the bag. 

Bloomin' Bag Gift Card Bag

For the gift card bag holder, I used another sheet of the same designer pattern paper and followed the Layering Guide for the 3D Pop-Up Bag Honey Cuts dies to make the 3D bag. I used white cardstock for the rope handle.

I wanted to add a little glitz to the bag so I added two tags on the left. The tags were cut from another floral paper and gold metallic cardstock. The tag dies are from the Accessorize It: Tagged Honey Cuts dies. I used a hemp twine string to attach the tags to the bag through the rope handle hole. I also added the "Just for You" sentiment to the top tag using the Tag You're It: Luxury stamps and coordinating Honey Cuts dies. On the right side of the bag, I added a gold bow using more cardstock from the Hive Hues Collection and the bow from the Accessorize It: Charmed Honey Cuts dies. I cut some tissue paper to fit inside the bag to prepare it for a gift or gift card inside.
