Hello, friends and happy Tuesday!! Brenda back with a dimensional project featuring the Lovely Layers: 3D Pop-Up Bag Dies, Tooled Leather 3D Embossing Folder, Lovely Layers: Mini Spring Florals Die Set and a sentiment from the Heart Of Our Family Stamps & Coordinating Dies!! I created this to hold a gift card for my mom for Mother's Day, but change out the sentiment and you could use this for just about any occasion!!
I started by die-cutting the bag and handles in the Lovely Layers: 3D Pop-Up Bag Dies from tan cardstock and the grommets from brushed gold cardstock. The front and back of the bag were embossed with the Tooled Leather 3D Embossing Folder. I ran the Brilliant White Pigment Ink Pad lightly over the top of the embossing to enhance the beautiful texture of the embossing folder. I did the same with the handles, using Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Once the inks were dry, I adhered everything together with double sided adhesive and Bee Creative Glue.
Next, I die-cut all of the flowers and foliage in the Lovely Layers: Mini Spring Florals Die Set from white cardstock. I colored them with OLO markers, then adhered each one together with Bee Creative Glue. I die-cut an extra layer for each of the thin stems from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the colored ones for stability, then adhered them to the bag, adding some inside the back panel of the bag and some to the front panel.
The sentiment, from the Heart Of Our Family Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink. I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out, then popped it up onto the front of the bag with foam squares.
