Hello, fellow cardmakers and happy Tuesday!! Brenda back with you today!! Are you loving the new Maker's Mix Release?!? I sure am!! My card today combines several products to create a thank you card that's definitely stitched with love!!

I began by die-cutting the flower and leaves from pink and teal cardstock using the In Stitches: Daisy Die Set. The button from the In Stitches: Buttons Die Set was cut from yellow cardstock and the needle In the Lovely Layers: Stitching Elements was die-cut from matte gold cardstock. I also die-cut an extra layer of each die-cut from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered it behind the colored cardstock layer for a bit of stability. Three strands of embroidery thread in similar colors was used to add the stitching to the die-cuts. I just did a simple chain stitch, but there are so many possibilities!!
The Lovely Layers: Circle Embroidery Hoop was cut from kraft, white and matte gold cardstock. I added a bit of shading to the white die-cut with gray dye ink and Vintage Photo Distress Ink was added to the inside of the hoop with a detail Beeluxe Blending Brush. All the layers were adhered together and the flower was adhered with Bee Creative Glue.

A piece of pattern paper in the Free-Bee paper pack was die-cut with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. It was adhered to an A2 panel of pink cardstock that was die-cut with the largest die in the same die set using Bee Creative Glue. The embroidery hoop was adhered to the right side of the background and the excess was trimmed from the edges.

The sentiment is from the Sew Glad Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with pink dye ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. Three more layers were cut from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered behind the stamped one. I threaded three strands of pink embroidery thread through the needle, adhered the needle with liquid glue, then looped the thread along the left side of the hoop. The sentiment was adhered with Bee Creative Glue and I added a tiny dot of glue to several spots on the background behind the thread to secure it.

That's it!! SEW easy!! Ha!! I can't wait to stitch some more of the die-cuts from the Maker's Mix Release!! How about you...do you enjoy stitching on paper?
