Sneak Peek - Foundry & Field Release - Lovely Layers: Muscle Car

Hello, friends!! Brenda here with a sneak peek of the Foundry & Field Release that drops on Thursday, February 19th after the LIVE release party on YouTube!! My card features the new Lovely Layers: Muscle Car Die Set, Great Man Stamps & Coordinating Dies, Gears 3D Embossing Folder and the Urban Roots Paper Pad!! This release is perfect for Father's Day or any occasion for those difficult to create masculine cards!!

I started by die-cutting the Lovely Layers: Muscle Car Dies from red, dark, gray, black and frosted silver cardstock. I adhered all of the die-cuts together using Bee Creative Glue.

Next, I used two dies from the Sweet Stacks: Oval Die Set to die-cut ovals from blue and frosted silver cardstock. The blue oval was embossed with the new Gears 3D Embossing Folder. I thought it was fun to create a nod to the blue oval from Ford!! The carbon fiber pattern paper is from the Urban Roots Paper Pad. It was die-cut with the largest die in the Deckle Edge A2 Die Set, then adhered to a white A2 card base. The ovals were adhered with Bee Creative Glue and the muscle card was popped up with foam squares. 

The sentiment, from the Great Man Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink. They were cut out with the Coordinating Dies and popped up with foam squares. I used a white gel pen to add highlights to the car and windows and this card was finished.

We are a Ford family so I was super excited to see this Lovely Layers: Muscle Car Die Set!! My father-in-law was a mechanic at Ford for most of his life, so that's all we've ever owned!!
