Warm colors, beautiful prints and charming lace take this card to a whole new level of "fall cozy." The background features a honeycomb quilt-inspired design that gives the card a wonderful homespun feel, while delicate ecru lace around the edges adds a soft, vintage touch.
A cheerful sunflower surrounded by colorful autumn leaves and layered florals creates the perfect seasonal focal point and brings in those rich shades of fall. Finished with the sentiment, “Cozy Autumn Wishes,” this card is filled with warmth, fall prints and all the comforts of the autumn season. It simply reminds me of a warm quilt on a cool fall night.

For the basics... my Honey Bee Stamps featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for gluing everything in place. When I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Honeycomb Foam is my "go to" for adhering my elements together. For white highlights, I use my white acrylic pen. My card is 5" X 7" in size.

My 5" X 7" card features this fabulous quilted hexagon filled with the prettiest pattern prints from the Acorn & Ember Paper Pad. Using the Bee Quilted: Honeycomb Hexies Honey Cuts Stand Alone Dies, I cut all the pattern pieces. I focused on six prints to use for this honeycomb pattern. Each size shape was cut from all six patterns using one die from the Bee Quilted: Honeycomb Hexies Honey Cuts Stand Alone Dies. I die cut the background base from dark brown cardstock and attached all the cuts using the layering guide for the pattern layout. I alternated the printed patterns to make sure no two pieces of the same print were not next to each other.
Once I had the shapes glued in place, I added the printed hexagon to a 5" X 7" card front panel, cut from a beautiful rust cardstock from the Hive Hues Collection Acorn & Embers Cardstock. The hexagon is big so I aligned and attached one side to the hexagon to the left side of the panel. I cut the lace trim pieces from an ecru cardstock. There are three different lace edge pieces that need to be cut twice to go around the hexagon. I glued the lace in place, matching up the corners to create a continuous lace border.
On the right side of the hexagon, I added one beautiful sunflower and three white flowers along with leaves cut from papers from the Acorn & Ember Paper Pad and the Hive Hues Collection Acorn & Embers Cardstock. I created a bow using Hemp twine in a natural color and added it to the floral swag. I used foam tabs under the sunflower to create dimension in the arrangement.
To finish the card, I added a sentiment stamped in a dark brown ink using the Keepsake Sentiments: Fall Stamp Set and Coordinating Honey Cuts Dies. I also splattered brown watercolor ink to the bottom and top of the panel and added a few white dots, too. I attached the card front panel to an A7 white card base to complete the look.
