Halloween is always more fun with "boos!" Today’s adult-themed handmade card features the cutest little ghost dressed for the occasion in a witch’s hat and holding a bubbly purple concoction that looks perfectly spooky—and maybe just a little suspicious! A few ghostly friends have joined the party too, each with their own festive drink in hand.
The handwritten sentiment “Here for the Boos” brings it all together with the perfect bit of Halloween humor. With bubbling potions, adorable ghosts and plenty of playful Halloween spirit, this card is ready to raise a glass to the spookiest season of the year. Cheers to tricks, treats and lots of boos!

For the basics... my Honey Bee Stamps featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Honeycomb Foam for adhering my elements together. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background, too. For white highlights, I use my white acrylic pen. My card is 5" X 7" in size.

To make this 5" X 7" card, I started by handwriting my sentiment on the black card front. By doing this, I take all the worry out of writing a handwritten sentiment on a completed card! My tip is to write it first! If it doesn't look good, I'll turn the cardstock over and try again! When I'm happy with my handwriting, I can move to the next step. Using Bee Creative Brilliant White ink, I blended white ink around the edges of the black cardstock from the Hive Hues Essentials Collection. This gives the card a spooky and smoky look. I used my Honey Bee blender brushes (large and small) to create the border. My background is complete.
The Ghosts... I worked on my cute ghost using the In Stitches: Ghost Honey Cuts dies. Instead of making the featured ghost just white, I used a fun "sheet" complete with cute bees for this sweet ghoul-friend! The bee paper is from the Bee Bliss Paper Pad (now in a larger size!) This is one of my most favorite paper pads by Honey Bee Stamps. I added the eyes, mouth, witch's hat, bow, and hands. I used foam tabs to attach the arms so they stand out from the body a bit. I also made the pumpkin and the piece of candy corn using this die set. Using the In Stitches: Halloween Bag Honey Cuts dies I die cut two smaller ghosts from white cardstock to be part of the "party BOO crew!"

The Drinks... Now let's get busy making some fun drinks for Halloween! For our favorite ghoul-friend, I made one big purple concoction using the Lovely Layers: Bootini Cocktails Honey Cuts dies. I cut down the bubbly to fit one of the smaller glasses that worked better with our ghost. I also cut the stem off of the glass and reattached it at the back, making it a shorter stem to fit, too. I added some sparkly dots, white highlights and shadows to make our drink pop. I also created the purple, skull-labeled bottle of happy potion using the Lovely Layers: Bootini Cocktails Honey Cuts dies.
For the smaller ghosts, I used the bottles and glassware from the Lovely Layers: Hoosier Cabinet Wet Bar Add-On Honey Cuts Stand Alone dies cut from a bright pink and purple cardstock from the Hive Hues Signature Surfaces cardstock pack. The size of these drinks and stemware are perfect for our smaller ghosts.

I attached the large ghost to the card front, above the handwritten sentiment. I used foam tabs to attach her. I also attached the two smaller ghosts behind the big ghost and the bottle of bubbly to the side. I added the pumpkin and a large candy corn die cuts at the bottom for extra color and flair! The pumpkin was attached using a foam tab. With drinks in hand, this "boo crew" is ready to party!

Inside the card, I added a few sentiment strips using the Sentiment Studio: Halloween Stamp Set and Coordinating Honey Cuts Bundle. I had a few extra bottles and glassware to add around the sentiments, too. I attached the card front to the card base to complete this 5" X 7" ghostly-fun, boo-crew Halloween Card.
