Did Someone Say Coffee? Coffee Cafe By Bobbi Lemanski

Did Someone Say Coffee? Coffee Cafe By Bobbi Lemanski - Honey Bee Stamps

Hello or should I say, "Good morning, coffee drinkers!" What a way to start the day with a good cup of coffee, latte or frappe! I made this fun coffee bar using new products from the Honey Bee Stamps, "Hello Harvest" release. I'm using the follow products to make this sweet coffee cafe scene:

Lovely Layers: Coffee Bar Honey Cuts dies

Homestead Hues Paper pad

Lovely Layers: Gallery Wall Art Honey Cuts dies

For the basics... my Honey Bee Stamps featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background, too. For white highlights, I use my white Gelly Roll pen. My card is 5" X 7" in size.

To create this 5" X 7" card, I die cut the elements from the Lovely Layers: Coffee Bar Honey Cuts dies. There are so many fun, details to add to the bar, from the croissants and muffins to the frappe and the coffee sign. How cute is this? Once I had everything die cut, I began to assemble the elements. I used pattern papers from the Homestead Hues Paper pad for the printed awning and wallpaper. To make the framed art on the wall, I used a coffee-colored paper from the FREE BEE paper pack that comes free with an order of $100 or more (while supplies last) and a frame from the Lovely Layers: Gallery Wall Art Honey Cuts dies. I used Distress Oxide Ink in Tea Dye (How appropriate, right?!) to blend color on the two signs (top of the bar and interior sign) that were cut from a natural white cardstock. My Blender Brushes were the right tool for this job!

To make the "self service coffee station to the left of the cafe bar, I used the interior sign die cut and turned it upside down to be the station's base and legs. I added the coffee pot on the top and the machine to the front for a self service option. The machine and coffee pot were cut from metallic silver cardstock to mimic stainless steel.

To make the cafe background, I used a printed paper from the Homestead Hues Paper pad  to look like wall paper. I hand drew in the floor with perspective for some depth to the scene. To do this, imagine a point one inch up from the bottom of the printed paper, center width wise. Use a fine-tip marker and ruler, to draw lines from that point to the bottom of the front panel. Add woodgrain. I finished the wall and floor with an 1/8' strip of white cardstock for a base trim molding on the wall. It make a nice finished background.

I added all the elements, set up the table with three chairs on the foreground and the cafe's bar with the self service station to the left, in the background. I added a picture on the wall, drinks on the table, muffins and croissants on the display shelves, signs hung, etc.  to complete the scene.

Finally, I added a sentiment using the You Had Me at Coffee stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies. There are lots of fun phrases in this set to choose from and in the More Coffee Please stamp set and coordinating dies
