Hello, Honey Bee friends!! Brenda back with you today!! I hope those of you in the US enjoyed the long holiday weekend honoring the veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom!! I'm sharing a "thinking of you" card featuring the stunning Perfect Peonies Stamp Set today!!
I began by stamping the beautiful floral in the Perfect Peonies Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, then used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. A yellow gel pen was used to add dots to the centers of the flowers.
For the background, I blended Spun Sugar Distress Ink through one of the stencils in the Luxurious Lines Stencil Set onto opposite corners of a panel of white cardstock using a blender brush. It was die-cut with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set and adhered to a panel of dark blue cardstock that was die-cut with the postage die in the Lovely Layouts: Posted Die Set. A panel of mulberry cardstock was die-cut with the largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set, then the postage background was adhered with Bee Creative Glue. The floral was adhered with foam squares.
The sentiment is also from the Perfect Peonies Stamp Set. I absolutely LOVE this font!! It was stamped onto white cardstock with bright blue ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was adhered with a combination of foam squares and Bee Creative Glue. Pale pink pearls from the Gingerbread Pearl Sticker Pack were the perfect finishing touch.
