Hi friends! I am so in love with this Vintage Snowman that I had to make another card featuring this snowy icon! I paired him this time with a large snowflake and a Christmas tree for a "merry everything" card. I'm using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:
Lovely Layers: Vintage Snowman Honey Cuts dies
In Stitches: Christmas Tree Honey Cuts dies
In Stitches: Bookmarked Snowflake Honey Cuts dies
Simply Stated stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies
For the basics... my Honey Bee Stamps featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background, too. For white highlights, I use my white Gelly Roll pen. My card is 5" X 7" in size.

To create this 5" X 7" holiday card, I die cut the Lovely Layers: Vintage Snowman Honey Cuts dies from white, pink, red and black cardstock. All of the lightbulbs were cut from white cardstock and colored using Copic Sketch Markers. For the Santa hat, I shaded the white fur using warm grays and added deeper red and pink tones to the red hat and pink scarf to shadow the detailing. I shaded the snowman's body using B000, BV00, C3 and C1 to look cold and icy. I added shadowing under the buttons, scarf, and hat for dimension. I used an RV00 color for the snowman's blushing cheeks.
I die cut and colored additional strings of lights to add to the Christmas tree. The In Stitches: Christmas Tree Honey Cuts dies were cut from green cardstock and the layers were assembled. I added the colored lights. This tree could also be stitched for an extra pretty handmade design.
I die cut the large snowflakes (2) from white cardstock using the In Stitches: Bookmarked Snowflake Honey Cuts dies.

For the background scene, I used an aqua blue cardstock for the top half, adding a white hand-cut hill horizon for the bottom half to make the 5" X 7" card front panel. I splattered white paint over the entire front and blue watercolor paint over the bottom half. Once it dried, I added the snowflakes, snowman and tree to the scene. I used Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab to attach the snowman to make him stand out from the snowflakes, tree, and snow background. I splattered white paint over the entire scene.
I hand cut two 1/8" tall X 5" wide strips of striped paper for an upper and bottom border design. The pattern paper is from the Merry Moments paper pad. Lastly, I stamped, die cut and added the "Merry Christmas" sentiment using the Simply Stated stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies. I attached the 5" X 7" card front panel to a white card base.

Here's another card I made using the same vintage snowman. You can read the post for all the details!
