Hello, Honey Bee friends and happy Tuesday!! Brenda back with you today sharing a scene card featuring the Lovely Layers: Horse Die Set and the Range Scene Layering Stencils, along with a sentiment from the Saddle Up Stamp Set!!
I started by die-cutting the two layers of the horse, manes and tail from tan cardstock using the Lovely Layers: Horse Honey Cuts. The hooves and eye were cut from dark gray cardstock. I added shading and details using Copic markers and colored pencils, then adhered all the pieces together with Bee Creative Glue.
I stenciled the Range Scene Layering Stencils onto a panel of white cardstock using Distress Oxide Inks and blender brushes for the background. I used Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness for the ground; Pumice Stone for the mountains, Vintage Photo for the fence and Mermaid Lagoon for the sky. Bee Creative Brilliant White Pigment Ink was used with a foam applicator to add the clouds and details to the mountains. The panel was die-cut with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set and adhered to an A2 white card base. I added a bit of shadow on the grass beneath the horse with Copic markers, then adhered the horse with Bee Creative Glue.
The sentiment, from the Saddle Up Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die, then popped up with foam tape. I added a bit of Glossy Accents to bring the eye to life and, after it was dry, a dot with a white gel pen and this card was finished.
I really love all the detail on this horse!!
Thanks smooch for spending part of your Tuesday with me!! I'll see you next week!!
