Hello Honey Bee friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start!! Brenda here with an A7 birthday card featuring a few Lovely Layers Honey Cut sets!! This card was inspired by a birthday card that my mom gave me in December. I absolutely loved the color combo!!

I started by die-cutting the flowers and foliage from white cardstock using the Lovely Layers: Anemone, Lovely Layers: Hydrangea and the Lovely Layers: Spring Greenery Die Sets. I added color and shading with a combination of dye inks and Distress Inks using detail blending brushes. I added deeper color to the centers of the flowers with alcohol markers. A stylus in a flower molding tool kit was used to add dimension to the petals and leaves, then each individual flower was adhered together with Bee Creative Glue.

For the background, I embossed a panel of pink cardstock with my favorite 3D embossing folder, the Sandie's Garden 3D Embossing Folder. I trimmed it slightly, added a bit of dark pink dye in to the center with a blending brush, then adhered it to a white A7 card base. The flowers and leaves were arranged and adhered with Bee Creative Glue.

The sentiment, from the Celebrating You Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with dark purple dye ink. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam squares. I added some Star Dust Stickles to the centers of the flowers to add a bit of sparkle and finish off the card.

I absolutely LOVE how this turned out!! It combines some of my favorite Honey Bee products!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a great week and I'll see you back here next Tuesday!!
