Hello, Honey Bee friends!! Happy Tuesday!! Brenda here with a 3D berry basket pop-up card featuring the Lovely Layers: Berry Basket Honey Cuts and a Berry Sweet Summer stamped sentiment from the Perfect Picnic Release, combined with elements from a couple of older sets!! I added a few pieces that extend outside the parameters to fit in an A2 envelope, so I'll add mine to a 5" x 7" envelope, but it will fit into an A2 envelope if you add fewer die-cuts or keep them a little closer together!!
I started by die-cutting all the pieces for the the basket from the Lovely Layers: Berry Basket Die Set from aqua cardstock. I added a bit of shading where the shadows would be with teal dye ink and blending brushes, then adhered all of the pieces together with Bee Creative Glue. I decided I wanted to fill in the center of the basket with another layer of berries, so I die-cut the top edge of the front layer again from aqua cardstock, folded it along the score lines and adhered the tabs to each side of the basket, between the front and back of the basket.
The berries were cut from red and blue cardstock and the leaves from green cardstock, also using the Lovely Layers: Berry Basket Die Set. I wanted some touches of white, so I die-cut the flowers from the Lovely Layers: Strawberries Die Set from white and yellow cardstock. I added shading to the die-cuts with dye inks using blending brushes. A black fine-tip marker was used to add detail to the debossed seeds of the strawberries, then each element was adhered together with Bee Creative Glue and adhered to the front, back and middle layers of the basket. I popped a few of the berries on the front layer with with foam squares.
The sentiment, from the Berry Sweet Summer Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with red dye ink. It was die-cut with an oval die from the Accessorize It: Tagged Die Set. The tiny hole reinforcement is from the Terrific Tags Die Set. It was die-cut from aqua cardstock and adhered with Bee Creative Glue. I threaded a bit of natural twine through the hole and tied it into a bow before adhering the tag with foam squares.
