Hello Bee friends. I'm just loving the latest release, "Maker's Mix" by Honey Bee Stamps. For a crafter, this craft-themed release is full of exciting and creative products just waiting to help celebrate the crafter in all of us! My cards feature the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

For the basics... my featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background, too. For white highlights, I use my white Gelly Roll pen. My card is 5" X 7" in size.

Let's Paint A Day to Remember Card

For this card, I stamped in black, die cut and colored the floral easel, floral art supplies and the watercolor paint box. I colored the designs using my Copic Markers including these colors for the easel and florals: E59, E57, E55, RV09, RV55, YR27, YR24, YG03, W5, W3, W1, W0, and a white gel pen for highlights. I used many colors for the paint box to represent a full color spectrum. 

To make this 5" X 7" card base, I chose one of the FREE BEE paper pack papers to use as a backdrop for this easel. (The FREE BEE Paper pack is free with a qualifying purchase of $100 or more. I attached the A2-sized paper to the front of a 5" X 7" white card base and added a 1/8" wide piece of cardstock to the bottom of the pattern paper, allowing white space below it for the sentiment. I hand drew some faux black stitching for a little more detail. I attached the colored designs to the pattern paper and stamped, die cut, and attached the sentiment using the Don't Worry, Be Crafty stamps and coordinating Honey Cuts dies.

Our Friendship Is A Work Of Art Card

Here's another card I made with a similar theme. Again, I used a FREE BEE paper for the background on this 5"X 7" card. The design and sentiment were stamped, colored and die cut using the Work of Heart stamps and coordinating Honey Cuts dies. I splattered on some watercolor ink to make it fit the painting theme.
