For the basics... my featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. For white highlights, I use my white Gelly Roll pen. My card is 5" X 7" in size.

To make this 5" X 7" card, I cut a front panel from a warm gray cardstock  (5" X 7") and splattered watercolor paint over it in black, royal blue and gold. I set the panel aside to dry while I worked on the die cuts.

Zipper Bag: Using the Lovely Layers: Zipper Bag Honey Cuts dies, I cut the back layer of the pouch, the top layer of the zipper pull and the stitched oval from black cardstock. I cut the top layer of the pouch from white and the bottom layer of the pull from from silver metallic cardstock. I assembled the pouch and hand colored an animal print design on the front of the pouch using a Copic Marker 100 (any black marker will work) to personalize it. I love the "wild" look of this pouch! I used my white gel pen to add faux stitching to the oval and the top zipper. I also heat embossed, in white, the word "Paint" to the black oval. The stamped word is from the Swatched stamp set. Lastly, I added a blue pearl gem sticker to the zipper pull.

Paint Tin: I die cut the watercolor paint tin using the Lovely Layers: Tin Palette Honey Cuts dies and gray and white cardstock. I die cut twelve tins from twelve colors of cardstock for the individual paint tins. I cut the bigger tin sections apart. I used two of the three panels on my card. On the second panel, I added color using my Copics to the mixing sections to make it look like watercolor in each section with a mix of color in the center. I also die cut three paint brushes from colored and silver metallic cardstock and colored the brush hairs black.

Paint Tubes: I die cut three paint tubes from white cardstock using the Swatch All Things Honey Cuts dies. I colored the tubes using cool grays (C8, C6, C5, C3, C1) and black 100. I colored the labels in shades of blue (B29, B26 and B24), Gold (YR27, YR24, YR23) and fuchsia (RV17, RV09, RV55). I shaded the caps and the labels and added white highlights using my white Gelly Roll pen. I cut the tubes down to fit inside the pouch.

I assembled the elements on the splattered front panel, adding foam tabs to the back of the zippered bag and the gray tin of paints to make them literally stand out. Lastly, I stamped and die cut a sentiment from the Don't Worry Be Crafty stamps and coordinating Honey Cuts dies and attached it over the brush and the individual tins tray.
