A Maker's Mix of Crafting Goodies

Are you a maker of all things pretty? If so, you are going to love the Maker's Mix by Honey Bee Stamps. There are so many fun project possibilities to make cards, tags and gifts for the ones we love. From knitting yarn and ribbons to scissors and pin cushions, all of a maker's essentials are part of this release. To make this 5" X 7" card, I'm using the following Honey Bee products:

For the basics... my featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background, too. For white highlights, I use my white Gelly Roll pen. My card is 5" X 7" in size.

To create this crafter's card, I used the Embroidered - 3D Embossing Folder to make the 5" X 7" dimensional background. Next, I die cut the scissors, knitted heart, butterfly buttons, fabric swatch, ribbons spools, pin cushion, pins and needles using the Lovely Layers: Stitching Elements Honey Cuts dies. I used my Copic Markers to add additional dimension by shading various areas of the die cuts. For example, the knitted heart is a fun one to create more dimension in the knitting rows. You'll notice a few more crafty items on this card like the wicker basket and skeins of yarn. These items are from the Lovely Layers: Arts & Crafts Supplies Honey Cuts dies. Once I had all the supplies cut and assembled, I arranged craft supplies on the card front, using Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab to create more dimensional and space between the overlapping layers. 

To finish the card, I added a sentiment from the Crafty Friends Stamp Set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies to complete the card. I attached the card front to a white card base.
