For the basics... my Honey Bee Stamps featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and frame layer. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for assembly and when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Honeycomb Foam for adhering my elements together. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background, too. For white highlights, I use my white acrylic pen. My card is 5" X 7" in size.

I have a new grand niece, Elowynn who was born in March, 2026 and I think this card will be perfect for her first Christmas this year! To make this card, I used the Lovely Layers: Teddy Bear Honey Cuts die set and die cut all the parts of the bear from a kraft brown cardstock. I used Distress Oxide Ink in Walnut Stain to add a little color to the edges of the die cuts and a white pen to add fur highlights. I used a pink cardstock for the paw pads and used Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink to add a little color to the edges. I used a Copic RV55 to add the tiny dots of color on the pads. I assembled the bear referencing the Layering Guide available here.

I die cut and added the clothing using the Lovely Layers: Teddy Bear Holiday Add-On Honey Cuts die set. I used a pink from the Hive Hues Bee Bliss collection and the white cardstock from the Essentials Collection. The bow was cut from a pattern paper from the Holiday Charm Paper Pack (includes a plastic reusable organizer!) I used a red Copic Marker (R14) to add details to the skirting, buttons and collar. Note: I added an additional ruffle to the skirt section of the dress. Girls and double frills go together! I also die cut and assembled the Santa hat in pink with the holly and berries embellishment. I used Copic markers to color the embellishment (R14, R27, R89, YG17, YG65 and YG13.) I die cut the candy cane from red cardstock from the Make It Merry Hive Hues collection. I shaded it using a darker red and added white lines to make it look like a traditional red and white candy cane. I attached the cane between the skirt and left paw of the bear.

To create the festive background, I used a two-toned pink gingham paper from the "Giddy for Gingham" paper pack and attached it to the front of an A7 white card base. I embossed a piece of white cardstock using the Framed In Holiday 3D Embossing Folder. I cut it out using the die from the Lovely Layouts: Framed in Holiday Honey Cuts die set. I blended Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink around the edges. I used Copic Markers to color the design using shades of green for the leaves and stems (YG13, YG17 and YG65). For the berries, I used a Glass Effect Gel in red to create dimensional and shiny berries. You could also just color them with a marker and/or add Glossy Accents on top to make them dimensional. I attached the frame layer to the card front and added some white highlights to the leaves.
I attached the bear to the card front, inside the frame, using Bee Creative Foam Honeycomb Foam pieces to make the bear stand out. I added two sentiments, stamped in green and die cut using the Beary Best stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts die set (Bundle here) to the card front to complete the card.
